During his lectures on the Sahih of Imam al-Bukhari Mawlana Sarfraz Khan Safdar would dictate certain discussions. Mawlana Aziz al-Rahman and Mawlana Said al-Rahman noted these down.
Later Mawlana Rashid al-Haq through the instruction of Mawlana Sarfaraz Khan Safdar compiled the notes along with a number of additions into a book.
