ABOUT THE BOOK
 
The crisis of knowledge is perhaps the greatest crisis affecting the entire Muslim World. It is reflected in how Islam is taught, practiced and understood. The only way to rescue ourselves from this crisis is through knowledge and having structured methodology for studying our own religion. There is a common level of literacy regarding Islam that every Muslim should have. Part of that base level of literacy is having a proper understanding of what exactly the Quran is: its history, preservation, compilation, subject matter, and themes. We need to have a proper framework and methodology for approaching  a study of the Quran.
