ABOUT THE BOOK
 
This was Mawlana Sarfaraz Khan Safdar’s first ever work. It removes the doubts surrounding an issue mentioned by Imam Tahawi in his work Sharh Maani al-Athar. After reading the particular part of the text some leading scholars were under the impression that Imam Tahawi has taken a stance which is opposite to the Imams of Ahl al-Sunnah, and that he regards the receiving of Zakah and Sadaqah permissible for Banu Hashim.
 
Mawlana Sarfaraz Khan Safdar through stong proofs removed all doubts and established that Imam Tahawi’s stance is the same as the other Muhaddithun and Mufassirun of Ahl al-Sunnah. At the end of this work twenty-one pages have been dedicated to a brief analysis of Shiaism.
