ABOUT THE BOOK
 
With Racism being the hot topic at the moment, this is the perfect opportunity for Ulama to educate the Ummah on how this Din is for people of all races and backgrounds. 
 
A wonderful new resource that has just arrived is this work by Mf Yusuf Shabbir of the UK, wherein he has gathered biographies of 101 personalities of African Origin 
 
This beneficial work covers Sahabah, Tabi’in and luminaries over the centuries and even includes some from the previous Ummahs, as well as contemporaries.
 
The foreword is by Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, who mentions that he was planning on just glancing through it, but was unable to put it down, so much that it took up his qaylula(siesta) time, who found it filled with ilmi and tariki fawaid.
