ABOUT THE BOOK
 
I have recently started reading this gloss on Imam al-Sanusi’s auto-commentary of the 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥, by Shaykh Yahya Zakariyya, which was printed this year for the first time. It was checked by our dear teacher, Shaykh Abdur Rahman al-Idrisi, with whom I was fortunate to study a few books in Creed & Logic.
 
The benefits of this gloss are several, amongst them are: the language is easy and simple to understand; the difficult nomenclatures of kalam have been thoroughly explained, and at times, graphs/charts have been provided, which consolidates the student’s understanding; and because the gloss was initially notes compiled by students, and then transformed and edited into a book, the pedagogical element of the teacher teaching you in a class is manifested throughout the book.
 
Indeed, the name of this work, ‘al-Bushra’ (good-news), is a source of glad tidings for students. 
 
I highly recommend this work for students of theology. May Allah bless the author, our teacher, and all those who made this work come to fruition. Amin.
